Zoe Zhao is a freelance illustrator based in Edinburgh.
After studying at Edinburgh College of Art from 2021-2022 she stayed in the city to continue to find inspiration for her work.
Zoe's Penguin is a project she has been working on for three years, featuring a cute emperor penguin chick.
Nature, life, animals and birds are the subjects that Zoe loves to portray and she draws her strength from the joy of nature.
Most of Zoe's work is watercolour, with some mixed media at times
Zoe has worked on illustrations, creative product design (canvas bags, postcards, stickers, washi tape), book covers, book illustrations, etc.
